You did it! You convinced your kids to actually read over the summer! With a little help from the Santa Clarita Library… Take the family to celebrate that miracle at the Summer Reading Jamboree Finale.

Yee haw! You Country Music lovers will be saying that phrase and more at this weekend’s Country Showdown.

This Country Music competition is part of the Concert in the Park series and starts at 7pm on Saturday, July 18^th at Central Park. The top three finalists from the first local competition at Keyboard Galleria will compete, as well as previous winner Marie Wise-Hawkins, so the night is sure to be filled with amazing country music. It’s a non-competitive walk for kids of all ages starting at 7:45am and finishing with each child getting a medal. You can participate in the 5 and 10 K too if you feel inspired, make sure you sign up first on their website.
