Splash and Dash Egg Hunt
Imagine other areas of the country, where they have to actually wear a sweater or even a JACKET for their egg hunts! Not us, my friends, we go bathing suit all the way for our egg hunts, and have a splashing good time.
The 7th Annual Splash & Dash Egg Hunt is taking place on Saturday, April 4, at 10:00 am at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center. Kids 10 years old and under will wade to the finish collecting eggs with prizes in the Waterslide Pool.
It’s free and a total blast. Plus, then you can post cute pics of your kids on social media and make the rest of the country super jealous.
Shoot-A-Thon
Got basketball lovers in your family? How about taking them to a super fun basketball event that also raises funds for some really great causes?
The Shoot-a-Thon takes place on Saturday, April 4th, from 10 am to 4 pm at the Santa Clarita Sports Complex. It’s a $20 donation per person and the even will feature Special Olympics athletes and coaches, community members, and students attempting to make more than 12,000 baskets. Call 253-2121 for details or visit their website.
It is benefiting the Special Olympics Santa Clarita & Tri-Valley and Hoops of Hope, so you can feel good about all that fun you are going to have!
The Three Musketeers
Do you and your kids have fantasies of becoming a great swordsman? Are you constantly quoting “You kill my father, prepare to die” to your kids? Well, you might need to get your swashbuckle on at the Canyon Theatre Guild’s theatrical presentation of “The Three Musketeers.”
Performances are Fridays and Saturdays this weekend through May 2nd and you can get all the details on their website Canyontheatre.org.
It’s the tale of three new recruits who begin as bitter rivals and transform into lifelong friends and the whole family is sure to love it.
You may, however, want to hide any really long knives from your kids when you get home…
